I got a new computer last week and am trying to get through all my pictures on my old Mac before transferring over to my new one. As I was going through pictures I realized I never documented all our fun from the month of James' arrival! It's so weird going through all these pictures and remembering what life was like just last month!
Amy Start threw me a baby shower on February 3rd. I tried telling her I didn't want or need one but she insisted and planned such a special night for me. She made these cute oreo pops for shower favors which my kids were thrilled about having for dessert the next night.
My growing belly (36 1/2 weeks along) . . .
February is always one of my favorite months in California cause we get gorgeous weather making swimming a highlight from the month! We love hanging out with the Nelsons!

Madi always has lots of creative ideas which I love, but then can't stand laying around the house. I feel better about it going to the trash once I know I've documented it.
Found this treasure that the girls had typed up after Madi read her first Baby-sitters Club book (my favorite book series growing up).
No school on the 15th and with all the gorgeous weather we've been having we packed up and headed to the beach! Boppi, Brittany, and Kaitlyn came along with us - there was a huge group that met up at Carp. I was glad to see Madi getting use out of the new wetsuit she got for Christmas!
Elle had cooking lessons with Boppi on Wednesday the 17th and Madi went over for a fun sewing lesson the next day. I'm so grateful my mother-in-law was able to make some time for these special lessons she does with my girls. They don't get to happen very often because of Boppi's work and temple schedule, but I love hearing how excited Madi and Elle get about having their special time with Boppi.
Cal and I joined Elle's class for art every Friday in February and I got to teach 2 of the lessons. I love being up there in front of all the kids - totally miss classroom teaching sometimes.

I was also able to hold a primary inservice meeting on Sunday after church -Feb 28th- the day before James' arrival! Felt good to pack it all in before baby's entrance into the world!
