September flew by just as fast as all the other months and yet again I am left with only the documentation from my phone. Thank goodness for modern technology and always having my phone/camera on hand! It was a hot month and we spent a lot of it in swimsuits - at friends' pools or at the beach!
School is back in full swing and we're back to the craziness of early mornings and being out the door by 7:45am. Cal got into Peep - Ms. Barbara's class (which I couldn't be more excited about), and goes from 8-11am two days a week. Those days, with 3 different school drop-offs - all at 8am, makes the early mornings seem even crazier, but thankfully most mornings Spencer can take Madi and I just drop Cal off at 8:15 after I take Elle. I love seeing how much Cal loves school and hearing about what a nice friend he is.
After school we pick up Elle at 2pm, drop off her buddy Curtis who we've been taking home cause his mama's home with a new baby, and then go wait at Cape for Madi to get out at 2:30. I love how Elle doesn't waste any time getting her homework done.
And sometimes when we're lucky, Cal will sneak in a little nap before we get back home at 2:45. Next year is going to be a lot easier on all of us when both girls are at the same school.
After school it's a battle to get homework done, especially when they just want to play together.
How can I resist letting these cuties play a little Mary and Joseph!
Our nightly routine always includes bath time!
Our Saturdays have been busy with jobs . . .
And soccer games!
Maddie Mae and Madi Kaye take good care of the little kids who get bored during the games!
Madi has been an especially big helper keeping Cal and Macee entertained during soccer practices.
We've had lots of park mornings with friends on the days Cal's doesn't have school.
I signed Madi up for a beginning strings class that she was over the moon excited about, and then we learned that she can't start till she's in 4th grade. Such a bummer! She was pretty stoked when Grandpa Al stopped by to tune her violin and teach her a thing or two though.
Another huge highlight in September was Jocelyn and Collin coming to visit.
It was SO much fun having Jocelyn here to hang out with. We had lots of fun shopping, going to the park, and watching our kids play together!
I'm most excited about these two belly cousins who will be just 3 months apart!

One of the highlights of the Camarillo Emergency Expo on the 26th was the face/arm painting . . .
. . . and the bounce house!!
We went to watch the air show but didn't make it in time and had to watch from outside the gates. Cool show, but our grassy shady spot resulted in a gazillion bug bites!!
Saturday evening on the 26th was Madi's first General Women's broadcast.
We met up with Boppi, Joc, Brittany, and Kaitlyn (Lindsey was out of town) for dinner at Olas beforehand.
What a treat it was having my oldest girl with me! Loved her company!
Sunday the 27th we celebrated Boppi's 62nd birthday with a tri tip dinner out in the gazebo.
With presents, cake, and ice cream!

And of course I had to document Calvin sharing his half birthday on Boppi's birthday!
It was a fun night and extra cool that Jocelyn and Collin were in town and got to join the festivities!
We wrapped up the month with doctor's appointments for Calvin (he needed a physical for preschool) and I. It's aways a treat for me to get to listen to baby #4's heartbeat!
And nothing makes getting an unexpected shot better than going out for ice cream after!
It was a great month! I have so much to be grateful for!
