Happy Birthday month to Spencer!!

Spencer's birthday was celebrated all month long! The first weekend of October we drove up north for Spence to compete in his first bike race - Levi's Gran Fondo, a 65 mile race in Santa Rosa. Adam Eshenroder flew out for the race, and along with Shaun and Shaun's dad, it was quite the party!

The kids and I got to hang out with Papa in Brentwood while Spencer raced - which will need a post of it's own to document all our adventures!

The next weekend Spencer got to go to the Dodgers play-off game with Brandon Bell.

The third weekend we went out for curry with friends.

Then on Spencer's birthday Cal and I took him to Sushi for lunch

I said something about it being "His" birthday and our server thought it was Calvin's birthday and brought out a birthday dessert for Cal. Calvin was confused why everyone was singing to him, so we had him move onto Spencer's lap to eat the ice cream together. It was a great celebration with my favorite guys! 

That night, after Spencer got back from Madi's basketball skills assessment, we had a birthday celebration over banana cream pie with the kids. 

Then the kids went to bed and we had Spencer's parents, Lindsay, and Shaun join us for more banana cream pie!

The partying didn't stop there though. We went out that Saturday to the Start's backyard movie party. Then the following Tuesday we met up with the Gertsch's in Anaheim for dinner and dessert at Cheesecake Factory. Of course Matt had to say it was Spencer's birthday so we could embarrass him even more! What a treat it was to get to hang out with the Gertsch's! A perfect way to end Spencer's birthday month!
