This past weekend was a busy one, but a LOT of fun! The Gertschs drove up from NC to visit. Matt had a conference in DC but it was just for an hour Saturday morning, which left us with the rest of the weekend to play! We had a blast- it was great having the whole gang (Gertsch's, Lundell's, and Jenkins) together again. We hit up the St. Patty's Parade on Saturday (I was happy to see that candy throwing still happens- it was the amount of candy throw that was very disappointing). We took the kids to the park in the afternoon, and then hit up Red Robin in the evening. And of course a visit from the Gertschs wouldn't be complete without some game playing. We stayed up late into the night chatting and playing Hearts.
Our ward doesn't meet until 1pm, so Sunday morning Matt and Spencer spoiled us with a full blown waffle breakfast, including: bacon, hash browns, OJ, strawberries, blueberries, and whipped cream. It was DElicious!

How fun that you all got together! It makes me wish that we could come visit. Wow, the kids are all so grown up! I haven't checked any blogs in a long time, so it feels like they all grew up over night!
